PetSafe® SmartDoor Connected for dogs and cats

Are you stuck at work or busy preparing dinner? The SmartDoor Connected from PetSafe® ensures that your pet's play and bathroom breaks remain intact wherever you are. The door connects to a mobile app and offers the perfect solution for your entire pet pack, providing customizable options. With the My PetSafe® app, you'll be in full control of the door. In the app, you can manage schedules, receive notifications, and remotely control the door via your phone.

Key entry

The door comes with a key that attaches to your pet's existing collar, giving them exclusive access to pass through the door. Households with multiple pets can of course purchase additional keys. You let them out, they run around the yard, and you run other errands without having to open the door for them. The Medium-sized door can even be paired with microchips to offer cats keyless access! Other pets and animals cannot enter without a key or microchip, preventing unwanted visitors to your home. 

The microchip function only works for cats and on the smart door size Medium. The door is compatible with FDX-B (15 digits), FDX-A (10 digits), AVID H, and AVID Encrypted (9 or 15 digits) microchips.

Settings via the app

Through the My PetSafe® app, you'll be able to set individual schedules for your pets, allowing them access through the door only at certain times. You can check movement notifications on your phone or smartwatch. Get alerts when your pets use the door when it's locked and more. If you find a storm has rolled through town, use your phone to remotely activate the multi-point lock on the door to keep your dog or cat safe inside.

Technical specification

Dynamic door sealing is energy efficient and keeps unwanted elements and airflow where they belong - outside the door. The door flap is made of durable plastic and tinted for privacy, so no prying eyes will peer into your home. SmartDoor comes in 2 different sizes: MEDIUM and LARGE. They are powered by batteries or an adapter (sold separately) and require a high-speed 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Installing the doors will be the perfect weekend project with a friend. Training will be easy and won't take much time

Simply teach your pet to use the new door according to our instructions with the help of our training videos and customer support experts. Training sessions should ideally only take 10-15 minutes a day for 4-6 weeks.

How to proceed with the installation

Before cutting the hole and installing the door, make sure to connect to WIFI and set the pet door to the intended installation location. This will ensure there are no connection issues and setup is easy!
