1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed, or the packaging was damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or it was exchanged by a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging and may have at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15–40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have been serviced/refurbished.

The warranty period for “as new” or “unboxed” condition is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” goods the warranty is 12 months; for “heavily used” goods it is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

The d-control 640 electronic training collar is suitable for all dog breeds and is primarily intended for training basic commands. This is a collar without an electrostatic impulse, featuring sound, 5 levels of vibration correction and light modes. The light function allows you to set 8 light signalling modes in the transparent receiver housing, which makes it easy to locate your dog in the dark. The vibration function was designed as an alternative way of communication for training dogs sensitive to stimulation impulses or for training dogs with hearing impairments. With a range of up to 600 m, the collar is suitable for training in normal home conditions where the terrain is not extremely rugged. The receiver is supplied as a submersible unit, making the collar an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions such as forest or mud. The transmitter has a built-in backlit LCD display indicating impulse level, selected dog and battery status. You do not need to switch between functions; each function has its own button, and the collar also features a magnetic on/off system for the receiver. Another clear advantage is the long battery life of up to 6–12 months. For reassurance, the battery status is indicated by a status light.

Correction type

The D-Control 640 model offers 2 types of warning signals – corrections: sound and vibration. You can also set vibration on a 5-level scale. The collar is suitable for sensitive dogs, which corresponds to milder correction signals. The model also features 8 receiver light modes, and you can set a different mode for each dog.

Collar range

The D-Control 640 helps you train your dog off-lead up to a distance of 600 metres, making the collar suitable for training at home as well as in more demanding, rugged terrain. In practice, the range decreases slightly, especially due to the environment. The range will suit you in normal conditions, e.g. in the garden, as well as in open terrain.

Battery and charging

The collar uses CR2 3V batteries in both the receiver and the transmitter. Battery life is typically around 6 to 12 months, depending on how often and which functions are used. Battery status is indicated by a status light.

Water resistance

The collar receiver is supplied as a fully submersible receiver. It is therefore an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions (forest, mud) or near water. The transmitter has basic water protection.

Number of dogs

By purchasing one additional receiver, the Dogtrace D-Control 640 training collar can train up to 2 dogs at the same time using one transmitter.

Display

The transmitter has a built-in backlit LCD display with transmission indication, battery status indicator, function mode indicator and dog selection indicator (dog 1 or 2).

Collar length

The Dogtrace D-Control 640 has a strong, high-quality collar made of woven textile. It is comfortable for the dog to wear and stays well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 15 to 72 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The transmitter is 5.3 cm wide, 11 cm high and 2.9 cm deep, and weighs 95 grams (without battery). The receiver is 4.3 cm wide, 6.4 cm high and 3.4 cm deep, and weighs 55 grams (without battery).
