The DogSilencer MAX Bark Control GoodLife has the highest range - up to 100 metres - and 40% louder sound than its predecessor DogSilencer. It detects barking at a distance of approx. 40 metres. For cases where the dog is within 40 - 100 metres, a remote transmitter is included (40 metre range), which can be used to manually activate the device. Like the Goodlife Silencer, it uses an internal microphone to pick up sound and automatically activates the unpleasant ultrasound for dogs. It runs on 6x AA batteries or a mains adapter. The box is made from high quality and very durable materials suitable for outdoor use, simply attach it to a fence or tree and point the front speaker towards the problem area. By turning the dial on the side of the booth you can adjust from 3 intensity levels ( low, medium or high).

How the barking booth works

Once the anti-bark box is within range of the barking dog, the internal microphone picks up the sound and the device is automatically activated. Ultrasound can be heard by dogs but is inaudible to most people. Startled by the high-pitched sound, which is safe and effective, the dog will stop barking because it associates barking with this unpleasant sound. When the dog stops barking, the ultrasonic tone also stops. The anti-bark booth has three levels of intensity and a test mode. It is effective up to a distance of 100 metres.

What is ultrasound

Ultrasound is a periodic change of pressure in the environment with a frequency higher than the upper limit of human hearing, i.e. higher than 20 kHz. Ultrasonic sound has been used for centuries to successfully train dogs. Some dogs take longer to train than others, and bad habits are sometimes difficult to unlearn. Results will be seen after 2-3 weeks. The sound is directional and will have the best results if the device is pointed directly at the dog.

• Keep it at arm's length from human ears during setup, installation

Functionality testing

The device can be switched to Audible mode, which is audible to humans, by pressing a button. A green light flashes when the device is activated.

Batteries

The Dogsilencer MAX works on 6x AA batteries, or can be recharged with a mains cable. The batteries will keep the barking box in operation for 4-5 weeks. The remote control is powered by a CR2032 battery.
