The electronic training collar D-Control 640 is suitable for all breeds of dogs and is designed primarily for training basic commands. It is an electrostatic pulse-free collar with sound function, 5 levels of vibration correction, and light modes. The light function allows you to set 8 light modes in a transparent receiver box, which is used to easily locate your dog in the dark. The vibration function was designed as an alternative communication method for training dogs sensitive to stimulus or for training dogs with hearing impairments. With a range of up to 600 m, the collar is suitable for training in normal home conditions where there is no extremely rugged terrain. The receiver comes with a submersible receiver, making the collar an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions such as forests or mud. The transmitter has a built-in LCD backlit display with indication of pulse level, selected dog, and battery level. You don't have to switch to set the functions; each function has an associated button. The collar also has a magnetic on/off system for the receiver. The undeniable advantage of the device is also a high battery life of up to 6-12 months. For safety, the battery level is indicated by a light indicator.

Correction Type

The D-Control 640 offers 2 types of warning signals—corrections: sound and vibration. You can also adjust the vibration on a scale of 5 levels. The collar is suitable for sensitive dogs, which corresponds to milder correction signals. In addition, the model has 8 receiver lighting modes, and you can set a different mode for each dog.

Range of the collar

The D-Control 640 model helps you train your dog without a leash up to 600 meters away, making the collar suitable for training in the home environment as well as in more challenging, rugged terrain. In practice, the range then decreases slightly, especially due to the environment. The range will suit you in normal conditions, e.g., in the garden, but also in open terrain.

Battery and charging

The collar uses a CR2 3V battery in both the receiver and transmitter for power. The collar lifetime is in the order of 6 to 12 months, depending on the frequency and type of functions used. The battery status is indicated by a light indicator.

Water resistance

The collar receiver comes with a fully submersible receiver. This makes it the ideal choice for training in or near water or extreme conditions (forest, mud). The transmitter has basic protection against water.

Number of dogs

With the purchase of one receiver, up to 2 dogs can be trained with the Dogtrace D-Control 640 training collar at the same time, using one transmitter.

Display

The transmitter has a built-in LCD backlit display with transmit indication, battery level indicator, function mode indicator, and dog selection indicator 1 or 2.

Dogtrace D-Control 640 has a strong and high-quality collar made of woven fabric. It is easy to wear and holds well on the dog's neck. The length of the collar is adjustable from 15 to 72 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The transmitter is 5.3 cm wide, 11 cm high, and 2.9 cm deep and weighs 95 grams (without battery). The receiver is 4.3 cm wide, 6.4 cm high, and 3.4 cm deep and weighs 55 grams (without battery).
