GPS/GLONASS 

On the K 5, the top-mounted GPS/GLONASS antenna provides fast and reliable satellite positioning and high tracking accurancy, even in demanding environments. GPS/GLONASS allows you to track your dogs even where Internet and mobile phone service is not available. 

 

Safety feature Geo-fence, lighting and signalling

Light a collar in low visibility. LED lighting is visible up to 90 m. Use also safety feature Geo-fence. Sound signal always alerts you when the dog crosses the safe distance.

Track up your dogs

All dogs simultaneously or each dog separately. You can toggle between "show all", "show some" and "show none".

 

Share dog´s location

You can also share a dog´s track code so another person can view your dog´s location on their unit´s map. It is simple!

MicroSD card slot

A microSD card slot allows you to load additional mapping options, such as TOPO mapping, Birds Eye Selection mapping and City Navigation NT mapping. City Navigation NT mapping gives you turn-by-turn driving directions on roads. Birds Eye Satellite includes free one-year subscription. You can download satellite images to your device and integrate them with your Atemos 50 maps.

 

Orientate yourself with a compass

Dog tracking compass points to your dog´s location even beyond the display bondaries. Just switch. Atemos 50 alerts you when dog crosses the safe distance.

 

 

 

Auto Zoom function

For help keeping the big picture in sight when tracking multiple dogs, it is easy to auto zoom the map page so all dogs can be seen on the display at any time. 

 

Avoid the risk

Control risking places in around with Atemos 50. It allows detailed TOPO map at large 1:10 000 that shows roads, rivers and other barriers. Due to signalization you are informed when danger appears. You can share all the signals, warnings and location with other team members.

 

 

 

LED lighting

It is not important what you track but how you track. LED lighting brightens the display and improves readability. The transflective display is viewable under all lighting conditions including direct sunlight. In this respect Garmin has no competition.
