Dogtrace d-control 1600 mini | Electronic training collar

The Dogtrace D-Control 1600 Mini electronic training collar, thanks to its smaller receiver, is suitable for small and medium dog breeds from 1 to 30 kg. The transmitter features sound, short and long impulse in 30 levels and a Booster function, which ensures a prompt response; by pressing it you increase the impulse level by up to several levels. The D-Control 1500 Mini model helps you train up to 2 dogs at the same time without a lead at a distance of up to 1600 metres. A range of 1600 metres is sufficient for both basic and professional training of most dogs. The collar receiver is supplied as a fully submersible receiver. It is therefore an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions (forest, mud) or near water. The transmitter has basic water protection. The transmitter has a built-in backlit LCD display with indication of the impulse level, the selected dog and battery status. The front panel is fitted with buttons to control individual functions. The Dogtrace D-Control 1600 Mini is switched off and on using a magnet; to switch the collar on and off, simply place the transmitter against the receiver. An advantage of the device is the long battery life of up to 6–12 months. For reassurance, the battery status is indicated by an indicator light.

Type of correction

The D-Control 1600 Mini model offers 2 types of warning signals – corrections: sound and impulse. You can further set the short and long impulse on a 30-level scale. The collar is suitable for both sensitive and temperamental dogs, which is reflected in the wide range of electrostatic impulse strengths. The model also features a Booster function, which is a step increase in impulse.

Collar range

The D-Control 1600 Mini model helps you train your dog without a lead at a distance of up to 1600 metres. A range of 1600 metres is sufficient for both basic and professional training of most dogs. The D-Control 1600 Mini is an ideal choice for use both in the city and in the forest, where conditions are worse and the range may be reduced.

Battery and charging

The transmitter is powered by 2x 1.5V AA batteries, the status of which is shown on the LCD display. The receiver is powered by a 3V CR2 battery, with a service life of 6–12 months depending on the frequency and type of functions used. The battery status is shown by an LED indicator on the receiver.

By purchasing one additional receiver, you can train up to 2 dogs at the same time using one transmitter.

Collar length

The Dogtrace D-Control 1600 Mini has a strong, high-quality collar made of woven textile. Wearing it is not a problem for the dog and it holds well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 10 to 75 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The transmitter is 5.3 cm wide, 11.9 cm high, 2.8 cm deep (without antenna) and weighs 95 grams. The receiver is 4 cm wide, 6.1 cm high, 3.1 cm deep and weighs 44 g.
